Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours golden yellow with a medium sized white head and good lacing. The aroma has oranges and floral hops. In the mouth it starts off sweet with some hoppiness lurking beneath the surface, but then becomes bitter with floral hops. Citrus and grains come through too, as well as a little sharpness. Finish is bitter and slightly dry. This is decent – plenty of flavour for the strength.

Half-pint, cask at Plasterers Arms, shared with Finn. Patchy white head, clear golden body, clingy lacing. Moderate smell of dusty hops and grain. Mixed malt-fruity flavours, oily hops, grain, and a biscuit vibe. Modest bitter fruity end. Easy to drink. Satisfying. (Norwich 11.11.2021).

Hand-pulled pint at The Pheasant Inn, Wellington Shropshire on 18th September 2021. Mini haze to the golden body, neat thin white head. Mild citrus leanings in both the aroma and fairly weak body, didn't think this had much oomph about it. I know it's only 3.6%, but I found it rather bland and uninteresting.
