This Helles style lager was fermented cool and naturally carbonated in tank. Hopped with Tettnanger and Hallertau, the hop profile is chill with just enough bitterness to balance out the malt profile. It’s creamy, smooth (read: outside the #crispy spectrum) and unlike any other lager we’ve brewed to date. To us this is the perfect beer for the season – like a winter pils. If you just so happen to like it too, we might just keep it around for a little while (we think you’ll like it).

Crisp, and bright. Great cereals, grassy hops. Clean and medium bitter. Light citrus notes with a solid bready malt note.

Some haze, pale. Thin head. Clean and bready pale malt. A touch warm. Decent. Good balance, moderate bitterness. Again, though, it is the well-extracted malts.

Third of a pint alongside two other Canadian beers in the Boot on Sunday 25th August 2024. Best of the three for me. Hint of a haze in the golden pour, white head. Grassy, almost floral aroma and taste, nice easy going Helles.

A golden helles with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, nice crisp biscuit malt with grassy German hops, light mineral notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice crisp biscuit malt with grassy German hops, cereals, pleasant and smooth. On tap at Corner Bar, Orleans.

On tap at Burdock, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out grassy herbal notes, biscuity malt and straw. Flavour is crisp, with biscuity malt, gentle herbaceousness, and straw. Clean and bright, but could use more crispness. Pleasant.
