Black, oily, silky, full bodied, medium bitter. Big roast, cocoa, burnt coffee, hints of vanilla.

Dark brown colour with some copper-ruby highlights. A big frothy-creamyish light-beige coloured head, good retention and some nice creamy lacing left. Even thought coconut is not in the ingredients, and they do have a version where they add this and more - coconut is felt all-around. Chocolate malt base with cacao notes, the coconut, wheat-banana and hints of grassy hops. Oily mouthfeel with a building dry finish. Some decent bitterness in the flavours from cacao, lingering, with a touch of coconut and the hops playing their role in cutting the richness. Quite a nice, smooth Imperial Stout with enough hops and a touch of coconut.

Can: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with some black chocolate notes with some light residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of roasted malt with some blakc chocolate notes with some subtle residual sugar notes. Body is full enough with good carbonation with no real apparent alcohol notes. Well brewed imperial stout with good balance.
