Cloudy amber with a foamy head. Mustard seeds, clove, smoked ham, caramel, metal. Dry metallic bitterness, malty sweetness, slightly spicy and umami. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry malty smoky mustard finish. Indeed, quite harmonious, the mustard aroma pairs well with the smoky umami-ness of this Bock. Certainly not for everyone.

330ml bottle. Minimally milky, amber colour with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, pale sulphureous head. Sweet-ish, caramel malty and mildly spicy, minimally veggie aroma, hints of caramel, mustard, mushy peas. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty and mildly spicy, minimally veggie and papery, hints of mustard, mushy peas, a weak touch of cardboard; more distinct mustard flavours in the finish. Oily texture, smooth and soft, silky palate, fine, dense, creamy, mildly prickly carbonation. Good mouthfeel, not completely harmonious composition - OK.

Tap at HopDog. Murky reddish brown. Ash and sweet veggies. Taste is front heavy sparkly creamy mustard and honey, followed by sticky honey mustard smoke. This beer was never supposed to exist (except for the rare case someone wanted to drink their honey mustard bbq instead of eating it). Made me laugh though on my first sip, which is good.

Tap at Hopdog. Cloudy dark orange, low lace. Lightly strange perfume aroma, a bit smoky. Medium dry body, lightly underattenuated. Sweet mustard entry, light sugary, wooden smoke. DMS. Interesting, but needs a bit of work
