Tap at HopDog. Unclear golden color with white-ish head. Aroma is big smoke, yeast, not quite as intense as the unfiltered Schlenkerla Märzen is, but distinctly different from the filtered version. Taste is yeasty, bready, more smoke than the filtered version, but also a different smoke. More moreishness, more sweetness, less minerals than the filtered version. Medium to high carbonation. Pretty smooth!

Tap at HopDog, probably had it before here without distinguishing it fro bottles. Light hazy, copper to brown, tan cream. Deep broad pleasant smoke, berries, pine, juicy malt, chewy, light juicy malt, a good wallop of hops, juuust hiding behind smoke and roast.

500 ml tap @ Hopdog. Unclear dark amber brown with a creamy head. Lemon zest, smoked ham, smoked salmon, caramel, candied malt, dark Bauernbrot. Malty sweetness, zesty bitterness, umami. Light bodied, oily texture, lively to soft carbonated, dry zesty smokey malty bittersweet finish. Very tasty!
