22oz bottle-pours hazy gold with an offwhite head. Aroma is sweet pine, light/medium malt. Taste is sweet pine/citrus hops, light/medium malt-caramel, some rock candy. Best of what I have had from this series.

Copper color, small white head. Grainy and fruity aroma. Medium-bodied. Fruity-berryish flavor with some grainy notes. Crisp finish.

Side by side by side comparison. All 22 oz. bottles. Massachusetts shows transparent amber with ample carbonation in a lager glass. ½ white head with lace. Sweet malt and honey nose. Flavor is mostly bread malt, touch of honey with a spicy, citrus hop showing up in the finish. Dry cotton-like mouthfeel. Straight forward and standard APA, yet still nicely done.

Bottle shared with Sander’s place, NYC. Pours clear, glowing orange with a small, white head. Aroma of orange marmelade, caramel, honey. Medium sweet flavor, more caramel and honey malts, some citrusy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming finish, some spicy hops, orange, honey. Decent.

Pours clear deep gold into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes to coat surface. Mild butterscotch aromas. Sweet butterscotch, dough and caramel upfront turning to a mild bitter nut finish. Love the concept, but wanted this to be better .
