12 oz bottle. Opens with a hiss and pours gold with a huge white head that means it takes a while to finish pouring, but that might be due to using this new pilsener glass. Aroma of biscuity malts and some red apple. Flavor is biscuity, a bit stale, with a mild bitter hop presence. A rather tame pilsener with some off flavors and aromas.

Pour is a golden with a large whtie head. Aroma has some slight bready malts with a grassy hop. Flavor is again some malt and grass but the finish is way too sour. Something went wrong here at the end. There are much better out there.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a clear medium golden color with a large white head. The aroma was spicy floral hops and sour malts. The flavor was dryish, tangy and malty with a dry crisp floral and fruity hop presence. The finish was medium length and dry. Decent.

Bottle. Golden beer with a huge (and I mean monstrous) off-white head. Grassy, straw, hay aroma. Malt, light lemon, grass flavor. Medium body. Light grass and malt lingering. Easy drinking, standard pils.

Clear golden body with a large frothy white head. Sweet grassy hop aroma, some lemongrass. Sweet lemongrass flavor, a bit too much lemon for my tastes.

Bottle. I’m not a huge fan of Pilsners, so I didn’t think I would enjoy this that much. Surprisingly it wasn’t half bad, but it still had the slight skunky, slightly burnt corn flavor that I expect from the style. Decent if on a hot day, but I don’t think I’ll return to this one.

Hazy straw-colored body, medium off-white head. Grassy hops aroma with bready malts. Cerealy, bready body, dry, with grassy, herbal hops. Crisp finish. Light, plain, easy to drink.

Deep Golden color, not cloudy however. Not terribly bubbly. Clean yeasty aroma, with some detectable hops. Right away, upon sipping, there is a big yeast and hops explosion. The flavor mellows out and slowly fades into a clean finish. Has an element of sour/bitter hops with little sweetness. Good carbonation. A nice take on a german pilsener. Can get a bit one-sided on the pallete towards the beginning and needs alot more malt to back up the hops. Rerate. Had in November 03. Much less aroma (and flavor). Opens up with a big apple juice flavor that seemed to stick. Gained some sweetness and maybe a touch of hops, but nothing terribly substantial. It seems last batch was better. Very light, mildly sweet, maybe a bit of metal flavor on the finish.
