On tap from Muzzlehatch’s glass at the brewpub with him and tiggmtl. Looks light amber, with a chill haze. Maybe some lightly rusty brown colors in there as well and a white head that quickly fizzles to bubbles. I took one sip and liked it so much that I took another a couple minutes later. Floral/citric bitterness greets you, but there is malt sweetness here as well, though it is in the background. Something in there, the hops or the yeast or the malt reminds me of an aspect of a Trippel. I’m not saying this beer tastes like a trippel, it certainly dosent, I just mean there is some reminiscene of a perfumy, hoppy trippel. Seems very drinkable, ending with a touch of chewiness and light sweetness. Fantastic, bitter, lemon-tea, grassiness in the finish and aftertaste that lingers on. Medium to medium-light body, not watery relative to style. For me, it was one of the more enjoyable non-DdC beers I had out at the brewpubs. I’m already looking forward to going back for more!

Golden beer with light malts and slight citrusy aroma. Nice floral pungeant hops tatste with light citrus and spices (cinamon, cloves?). The body is too light to carry the bitterness.
