(Cask at Cock Tavern, Hackney, London, 23 Nov 2018) Reddish amber colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, hoppy nose with caramel, crisp-bread, orange peel and grapefruit. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of caramel, rye bread, orange peel, pink grapefruit and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Fresh and tasty, with a good hop presence. Nice one.

Can at home from honest brew. A mostly clear reddish amber coloured pour with a fine beige head. Aroma is nice balanced toffee, and sticky hop resin, sticky jammy fruits, raisin, orange rind. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, toffee, light toast, sticky pine and orange, dried fruits. Hints of liquoprice and burnt toffee in the finish. Palate is semi sweet, rounded and sticky, moderate carbonation. Good. Malty AND hoppy

Taste: bit malty, caramel and strawberry jam up front, turning rather quickly to a pretty bitter flavour, slightly acidic and citric touch. Aftertaste: hoppy, quite some grapefruit, nice bitterness, soft acidity, citrus, bit malty.

From can on board Fridtjofen 24.11.18. Clear golden to copper amber. Fine beige head and lacing. Excellently balanced aroma and taste of dark malt, round hops, dark syrup, ripe berries and plums. Plumbs, berries and moderate bitterness is lingering on. Very quaffable!
