10/16/19 12oz wine bottle from Astoria Bier & Cheese. Ommegang anniversary glass at home. Yellow gold, a bit chill hazed. Big, lingering, pasty, lightweight white head. Sharp, cider-ish, fruity nose, peppery & chalky yeast. Gently floral flavor, with juicy green grape & moderate to strong bittergreen hops. Acidic, bright, un-muddled flavors coinciding with some basic malt. Dry mineral-y finish. Believable 6.5% ABV. Tasty.

12 ounce bottle. Bright honey gold pour. Small foamy beige head. Yeasty malt nose has notes of light grain and spice. Crisp dry maltiness upfront yields to earthy yeast and then semi-dry white wine. Peppery notes with a hint of minerality and lemon juice. Quite unique.

Pour is a dark hazy gold with a huge white head. Aroma is mostly grape with some generic grain. Not too exciting so far. Flavor is dry and crisp carbonation with some white grape and some wine must. Nice grape flavor but a bit bland after that. Not much going on here.

Bottle from Gebhard's Beer Culture. Faintly cloudy pale yellow with large foamy white head, faint earthy aroma, high carbonation, mildly earthy taste with grape flavor, and tannin at the end, thin body, long finish. Interesting brew.

Pours bright gold into a tulip. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving scant sheets to coat surface. Dusty grape and citrus aromas. Crisp with apple and grape upfront turning to dusty hay before the lasting pith finish.

Nice saison, crisp and grassy, offering up clove, honey, white bread, white grape, and floral notes with a moderate grapefruit bitterness accented by yeast and minerals on the finish. The gewürztraminer is present without being overbearing, and the dry saison finish complements the boisterous farmhouse feel nicely. Interesting pint.

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours translucent light gold with a creamy/foamy white head. Aroma of pepper and light non-tropical fruits. Med body. Flavor is pepper, coriander, lemon and some non-tropical fruits. Could be white grape. Could be lychee. Dry. More spicy than bitter. Earthy for sure. Good tasting stuff.
