Can at home, picked up from Elusive Brewery, 2nd October 2020. Pours a copper brown colour and a white head. Aroma is smokey, peat, smoked bacon, meat. Taste is smoked meat, bacon, bitter, smoky peat, sweet, and then bitter, it’s a very good rauch bier.

Draught at the Brew Dock. Weak smoke aroma. Clear brown colour. Small off-white head. The flavour is quite malty, almost sweet. Has a mild, but good, smoke note. Fairly citric, but not bad.

On tap at the brewery Bermondsey. Clear dark ruby almost black beer. Decent enough smoked beer. I guess going more for a schlenkerla marzen. Some wood smoke. More smoke cheese than meat. Decent enough.
