Can. Pours opaque black, medium creamy brown head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is roasty, coffee, wood char, maple, leather, molasses. Flavor is medium sweet, medium bitter, very roasty (as fuck, perhaps). Full body, creamy mouthfeel.

Can @ Mikkeller, Odense. Pours black with a creamy head and lacings. Maple, good coffee and roast. Sweet chocolate. Smooth and full bodied. Dope.

Big light brown fizzy-creamy longlasting head, deep dark pour. Aroma is rich and sweet sour-ish roasted, sweet licorice, dark sugar, dark malts, roasted grain, coffee, dark fruits, minerals, alcohol, oak, toast, caramel. Taste is sweet sour-ish mineraly, dark malts, minerals, sweet licorice, dark sugar, bark, alcohol, toast, coffee, oak, caramel, minerals, roasted grain. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish roasted mouthfeel. Nice.

Can from Mikkeller webshop. Poured pitch black, thin light brown head. Licorice, roasted malts, cocoa dominates. Dry, near full bodied with cocoa, licorice, roasted malts and chocolate, quite dark. Long finish. Solid porter. Sipper.

Lata 50 cl tomada en Belmonte 23..09..2018. (r 29). Lote WHALE TAIL 18059 en fondo lata. Color negro intenso con espuma beige oscuro que desaparece al poco dejando pequeňa corona. Sabores intensos maltosos tostados con buenas dosis de maderas y siropes de miel y melosos. Suaves toques de cacao y especias, vainillas, ligeros frutos secos. Cuerpoa intenso con buena densidad, fina y cremosa en boca acabando algo seca al final cuando calienta. Suave amargo. Bastante buena para repetir sin duda alguna.

Can 1pt. @ home. [ As Mikkeller San Diego / Finback Black Tide ].Dark black colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, coffee, light maple, light licorice. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, coffee, dark malt, licorice, light maple. Clear dark brown to black beer, big creamy solid beige beer, dark brown head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweetish, lots of vanilla, dried fruits, alcohol, maple syrup, soft roast, chocolate notes. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet start, caramel, soft roast, bitter, coffee notes. Aftertaste: caramel, bit sugary.
