This year we wanted to wrap our barrel aged stout program into the #SELECT event and choose the best barrels we have available. So that’s exactly what we did!
#SELECT (BBA) is a blend of Willet and Old Elk Bourbon barrels aged for 15 months.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some light lacing notes. Aroma of chocolate notes with some really nice bourbon woody notes. Taste is also a mix of chocolate notes with some really nice bourbon notes with vanilla notes and a sweet finale. Body is full with oily texture and good carbonation with some light discernible alcohol notes. Nice barrel-aged bourbon stout with a nice sweet chocolate malt base.

A deep dark stout with nice chocolate and vanilla in aroma, big chocolate brigadeiro in mouth, very nice.
