Clear golden coloured body with a small light off-white head. Aroma of malt, cardboard and metal. Light-bodied; Mild maltiness in taste with some citrus notes, but mostly a Sam Adams Light to me. Not horrible, but not great either. I sampled this on draught at the Albany Pump Station in Albany, New York on 25 June 2006.

On draught at the brewpub, 4/09/2005. Light golden-yellow, extremely clear. Any head it may have had is gone by the time it gets from the tap to my table. Aroma of light grains, a touch of yeast, lightly salty. Flavor is bittersweet at first, a hint of honey and light caramel, with some grassiness and yeast on the finish. There is noticeable malt up front, (the honey/caramel) and though it gets quite watery, I didnt find it to be anything out of the ordinary for this low of an abv. A touch soapy and lightly metallic as it warms. Not much of a Scottish ale, more a mild or bitter, to which I will rate it.

Golden ale with a pleasant malt aroma, bready. Taste of rye, lightly malty tatse , but barely any hops. Very watery body.
