Can from Morrisons Supermarket, Skipton. Golden-amber with a small head. Its strength is evident, but its strong pale ale texture and taste subdues this well enough to allow a fair amount of character through. Dryish, good aroma.

Can. Morrison’s. Clear, amber colour. Decent off white head. Nose has stewed hop. Caramelised malts. Gravy. Holy shit, this stinks. Taste is sweet and earthy, dirty bitter. Horribly oily and greasy mouthfeel. Low carbonation. Burnt toffee bitter finish. Jesus, this is bad.

Piney and slightly citrusy hoppy as well as caramel malty aroma, concentrated notes of lemon, pine, resin, almond overtones. Taste is bitter, piney and minimally citrusy hoppy, notes of resin, orange zest, a touch of purulence, malty basis with an almond touch; lingering bitter hoppy finish. Oily texture, smooth, soft and silky palate.
