12 ounce bottle from the brewery. Clear orange, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of citrus, yeast, oats, caramel. The taste is citrus, stone fruits, yeast, oats, pale malt, mild caramel. Medium bodied, well balanced. Nice beer.

12oz bottle from Bier Cellar, bottled August 2015, drunk 10/27/15.
Deep copper-amber color shows more medium malts than most saisons. Clarity is high, with a very faint bit of sediment left behind. Beige head is medium in size but quickly recedes to cover.
Perfume and lightly spicy phenols in the nose give way to an adjunct-like cereal character that I take for the oats. Vanilla and light dollops of honey in turn give way to a both leafy, earthy and citrusy character. It mostly subsides with breathing, but there’s a bit of meaty, bean-like character to begin, perhaps just another manifestation of all the oats? No alcohol and I don’t know that this is still 7.5% abv, but I forgot to check.
Very light bodied, rather simple, easygoing beer. All sorts of grainy character, ranging from corn to brown bread. Vanilla, honey and soft citrus and peach character. The dryness is appreciated, as well as the soft, though perhaps soapy, at times, texture. Like the Printemps, it’s close, but just not a complete picture. Both of these are more just light table beers, with very light, vague Belgian character and lots of grain. Still, it goes down very easily and competently.

Pours clear, deep gold into a tulip. Bright white head with excellent retention. Caramel and yeast aromas. Dry with sweet toffee, nut bread and candy corn front to back hot earth finish.

12 oz. bottle purchased at Kittery 7-11. No Bottle date found, although they have a spot on the label for it. Amber color with almost no head in a chalice. Aroma shows the oats with a light spicy yeast. Mild toffee hints.
The oats help the body have a medium plus feel and really gives a slightly different take on the texture and body. The yeast is nice with a balanced level of spice. After it warms and I work through the glass it dos become herbal, yet doesn’t get overpowering. I enjoy this and I drained my glass with ease.
