Bottle from Martys, drunk 5/19/15
Deep copper-brass pour has some brighter golden hues to it and a medium to small white head that slowly recedes to cover. Clarity is high.
High minerality and tons of grassy and dry hay-like hoppiness in the nose seems to be fading fast. Never too sure of the bottling dates on their stuff (HINT HINT), but I suspect this one has sat on the shelf for a few months. Still, highly clean, with light sourdough bread notes and some sweet honeyed malts. It all comes together well and delivers an authentic interpretation.
Same, not-quite-as-fresh-as-it-could-be flavor still boasts no flaws or problems. The carbonation seems to dissipate quickly in their bottles that sit, so this one was a little undercarbonated as they usually are, but it created no major problems. Mostly just highlighted the malts which are very well-attenuated here. Spicy hoppiness is real but still an afterthought. As usual, the challenge remains of getting JA beers as fresh as possible without the aid of a bottled on date....
As Auerbrau goes on about their beers not being very good in his review here, I think he is an (unsuspecting) victim of having a very passed-its-prime bottle (though I’m a bit surprised he dosent realize it’s the shelf age and not the beer).

Bottle from Colonial Spirits. Pours a slightly hazy medium golden color with a smallish bubbly bone white head that quickly dissipate to a cap on top. Aromas of spicy hops and rich bready lightly toasted pilsner malt make up the aroma. Clean rich lightly sweet bready toasty malt offset with spicy earthy hops. Medium body with a moderate to high level of carbonation and a lightly sweet slick bubbly mouthfeel. Really nice Bo Pils here. Clean, simple, flavorful. Come to NH already!

Bottoe at home in Salisbury, CT. pours clear gold, effervescent, with a large, frothy off-white head. Has a beautiful aroma, all crisp cereal, modest white bread, straw. Light sweet flavor with good, crisp bitter hay, floral hops, cereal. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crisp finish, more cereal, biscuits, mild floral notes, simple bread. Great lager.

Bottle thanks to Brian! Pours a clear gold with a slight amber hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice grassy hop note with some crisp yeast and a sweet grain backbone. Flavor has sweet grains and a bit of biscuit that is cut by grassy hops and is quite crisp.

Pours bright gold into a stein. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Bready caramel aromas. Soft and well-balanced with cracker and caramel upfront turning dry in the mildly hoppy earth and hay finish.
