Draught at Triangle, Paris, 4/25/15
Mildly hazed, very soft blonde beer with a foamy, messily-retained white head.
Grass, light floral notes and a touch of grapefruit in the nose show very delicate hopping, with minimal malt aromatics. Clean yeast profile shows no flaws/minimal esters.
Good body though it isn’t sweet. The carbonation and light biscuit-like character matches the flavorful, yet not heavily bitter hoppiness, imparting tons of grassiness and moderate citrus, with a very tight carbonation and crisp finish. Really nice beer, though could use a touch more malt substance. It’s very dry and a bit husky at times on account of the high attenuation. Had a few of these and a few Neck Oils and was reallly in to this quite a bit more.

Cask at Union Tavern, London. Pours clear, copper-gold with a fine, foamy white head. Lightly toasted bready malt nose. Light to medium sweet flavour, lots of faintly toasted bread, very light leaves and toasted grass, hints of caramel and orange. Light to medium bodies with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with lots more bready malts, hints of toffee, low bitterness. Great sessioner.

Tap at Dukes Brew & Que. It pours cloudy orange, with a thin white head. The nose is tangerine, orange, light marmalade and sherbet. The taste is dough, straw, tangerine, pithy orange, sherbet and decent bitterness with a dry, citric finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A pleasant, drinkable offering from Beavertown.
