Bottle. Translucent yellow gold color that is crystal clear. No head. The aroma is mild and subtle with light pears and apples. The taste mirrors the aroma--pears and apples. Semi sweet/semi dry. Palate is light but not watery, carbonation is prickly. paired superbly with some smoked Wisconsin gouda. Overall: decent treat on a Sunday morning.

Can: Poured a light yellow color perry. Aroma of fresh dry pear notes with light dry notes. Taste is dominated by dry pear notes with very little residual sugar. Average body with good carbonation. Enjoyable but dryer then I was expecting.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours rather gold with an actual white, tho slight, head. Pear aroma. Near med body. Flavor is barely tart pear/barely sweet pair. Very pear flavor and very tasty. Not at all like fresh pear pulp - but why should it be?

From a 50 cl bottle. Pours a clear gold with a fine white head. Aroma of apple and pear. Flavors are sweet and fruit, but the finish is crisp. Tasty.

Draft 8 oz pour at Hi Fi. Clear light golden pour with no head. Rating #1997. The same year my youngest brother was born. Spends his days now serving in the Air Force now, and I couldn’t be more proud of him. I’ll dedicate a rating to him, since it’s the absolute least I can do. Hope to come to Germany and visit you soon bud. And drink good beer while I’m there. You will turn 21 while you are there, and your first beer is on me. As for the cider, soft apple and sweet mixed fruit aroma. Flavor is candy sweet. Sugary pear and apple. Mostly clean finish, with a candy linger. Overall a good cuder, but a bit on the sweet side.

Bottle at winery
Blond color with large bubbles. Apple and white wine aroma. Semi-dry, light apple flavor and mild acidity. The pear maybe adds a touch.
