Monogamy is our ongoing series of IPAs brewed exclusively with one hop variety at a time. Ie, a delicious, controlled experiment designed to give us all a better understanding of what a hop can do when it flies solo.

Brewed exclusively with Loral hops, this beer showcases notes of orange sherbet, jasmine, and soft vanilla.

Been a while since I had monogamy. Taste is sweet malt with citrus, pith with resinous hops, a little perfume a little plastic hob burn. Gently pretty tasty. Can from the Christmas gift pack.

A lightly hazed golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with grassy resinous hops, light mineral notes, light citrus, pleasant. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with grassy resinous hops, light chalky notes, faint peaty character, pleasant and smooth. On tap at Lupulus.

Bottle at home in garden, bought from Bellwoods, Toronto, 19th July 18. Pours a cloudy orange, a frothy head. Aroma is farmyard, musky citrus. Taste is classic Bellwoods, powdery citrus, very dry, pine, musty refreshing, different IPA.
