Named after Wimbledon’s historic Common, this pale ale is burnished gold in colour with a bright sparkle. The aroma has spicy orange notes with a light malt fruitiness.

The middle palate is clean with the Maris Otter malt character coming through with orange fruits making a re-appearance, merging with the final refreshing bite of bitterness.

Cask @ Fox & Anchor, London. Pale golden pale ale with a very light dry fruitiness, but an easy-drinking one.

Cask at Ogilvy, Woking. 16/06/16. Another pale that has zero aroma - a hint ofsomething. Pleasant enough palate but tastrs of sweet FA. Looks good though - a dark amber with a fluffy white head. Bland.

Cask at the Eagle Ale House - London. Pours totally clear gold with a firm, creamy white head. The nose holds pale grains, hay, citrusy hops. Light-medium sweet flavor with some tangerine, melon, pale bread, biscuits, lemon rind. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Sweet finish with light bitter hay, grain husk, more citrus, tangerine, basic pale and bready malts. An easy-drinking and very basic golden ale.

Smaksprøve på pub i London: klar kobber med kort skum. En myk og behagelig pale ale med typiske engelske karakteristika: alkoholsvak, balansert og lett syrlig bitterhet som gjør de lett å helle innpå. Skal prøves i full størrelse.
