Cask at PSBH, Manchester. Pours clear amber with an off white cap. Aroma: malt, caramel, toffee, bread, straw. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, bread, caramel, herbal hop. Light to medium body with soft carbonation.

Cask @ Nottingham Beer and Cider Festival. Clear amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and toffee. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 181018

[ As Northern Whisper Blighty ].
ABV: 3.8%. Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, caramel, sweet malt, nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, dusty, nutty, hay, straw, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180809]

Half-pint, cask ale by hand-pump, outside at Baum. A covering beige head to a clear amber coloured body. Dotted spots on the glass. Bread and toffee on the nose. Blended taste of bread, herbal hops, and toffee. Bittersweet endnotes. Smooth in the mouth. Decent bitter. (Rochdale 06.05.2018).

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Darker golde in colour and bitter in style with plenty of tasty grainy malts.

Cask gravity at Firkin Alehouse Folkestone. Clear mid brown colour lasting bubbly head. Toffee. Some hop on the finish. Some biscuit. Some bitterness on the finish. Decent.

Cask at the Ale House, Chelmsford. Pours slightly hazy golden amber with a small off-white head. Easy drinking bitter.
