Handpull cask at the Queens Road Tap, Leicester. Light to mid-golden and slightly hazy with a film of white head and quite a bit of lacing. Aroma of banana and cantaloupe, a little bit plastic but overall pleasant. Sweet taste, more wheaty banana notes, some honey and a little white grape. Some bitterness in the finish. Didn't care all that much for it at first but it grew on me.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Taiheke = New Zealand Cascade. Hazy orange - gold beer, tidy white head. Smooth palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth malts, a little dry, not much wheat character. Okay tangerine - orange hops. Some citric peel and mild spice. Fine.
