Our quartet of Brut IPAs were team favourites last year, and with On The Bubble we aim to continue that trend. Sabro, Citra, Azacca and Chinook combine with distinct, clean tropical fruit notes layered upon a crisp base. The beer is spun on oak, bringing a touch of sweetness and a moreish dry finish.

Tall can from Brewcraft at home. Hazy pale light yellow pour - like a fizzy lemonade. Very thin white head. Aroma is melon, pine, pineapple - light. Taste is bitter fruity and dry. Definitely brut IPA - which is good. More citrus tropical on taste. Oak adds a different dimension but not necessarily positive - a bit woody/grassy.

Can picked up from BeyondBeer website Hamburg and consumed at home cooking Minced Beef and Cheese Pies and listening to Air- Moon Safari in the company of Xenofon Anastasia and Kostas, Saturday 3rd October 2020. Pours yolky yellow with a white head, zippy, dry. clean beer, a little fruity tingle, good but these Brut IPAs don't always do it for me.

Can at home manning the BBQ, 15th September 2020. Pours a light colour with a light haze. Aroma is citrus, coconut, fresh. Taste is delicious, complex and lots of flavour, dry, with citrus, the oak comes through to differentiate, light vanilla, some bitterness. For sure the best Brut IPA I have had.

Hazy golden beer, white head but it soon fizzles out.Smells of grapefruity citrus and grassy hop. Has the light liveliness you'd expect of a Brut IPA, with the grapefruit still there in the flavour but fairly mellow and a nice blend of tropic fruit, hop, a touch of savoury woodiness and something slightly floral. Really very tasty and refreshing.

Can sourced from Beerdome and drunk at home (01/08/2020) - hazy golden yellow with a white head. Fruity with prominent notes of grape, lemon, a touch of pineapple from the sabro, light soft malts, medium body, wooden oak accents, crisp and bone dry fruity hoppy close. Solid Brut IPA, very tasty.

Can from A Hoppy Place, Windsor. Dry champagne-esque aroma with underlying grapefruit, coconut and sweet stone fruit. Hazy light good. No head. Initial sweet fruitiness - stonefruit and coconut Then crisp bitterness sweeps through. Sour edge. Some dankness, moreso in the finish. Medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Dry but relatively abrupt finish. Nice but the abrupt finish essentially sum it up. Doesn't have much of a impact. Difficult to score.
