Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Dark golden-blonde with a creamy head. Full-bodied rather than strong tasting, it's hoppy-fruity, but with a little more of the former.

Can. Mitchell’s Wines, Sheffield. Second can of this, as I knew full well I’d be buying it again after the first. Orange gold. Soft haze. Thin white head. A little leggy. Nose has full on stewed citrus and sappy pine. Spicy biscuit malts. Fully ripe yellow melon. Mouldy grapefruit. Pungent stuff. Taste is a little sweet, first off, with a greasy, oily, sappy bitterness. Medium body. Low carbonation. Slick on the palate. Lingering sappy bitterness to finish. Great stab at the style.
