Bottle from Tesco Supermarket, Borehamwood. Clear golden with a very thin head. A fairly sweet ale, wouldn’t describe it as a pale ale as it says on the bottle. However for its lower strength it feels fairly full tasting.

[33cl bottle from Tesco, Warfield as Hogs Back Little Swine.] A pale amber pour with a thin white head; malty aroma with some peppery spice; dry biscuity malt taste; then a fruity finish with a touch of pepper. Rather good.

On cask at the Haymarket Bar. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - lemon and pith. Light cereal. Taste - more citrus against grain backdrop. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture. Dry finish. Overall - great considering the low ABV.

Cask at Hogs Back. Low key grassy aroma. Light gold. Thin bubbly translucent white head. Medium bitter. Pretty hoppy. Thin. Light. Fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. Certainly seasonable and makes a mark.
