Forholdvis pålitelige notater fra en travel dag på The Great British Beer Festival, London 02.08.22: klar lys gylden, fint skum som varer. Besk grapefrukt, gress og furunål. Litt appelsinmarmelade.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Aroma? Maybe some malts. Light gold. Looks thin. Thin bubbly translucent white head. Light bitter with a citrus sour edge. Develops some underlying sweetness but also somewhat undone by a streak of boiled veg. To be fair, as I drink more the hop becomes more evident. Light-medium bodied. Slick if thin. Average. Long slightly astringent finish. Drinkable enough but definable a British IPA from an oldschool brewery in that the hop is almost an afterthought.
