On draught at The Guild, 9/2/17.
Minimal haze in this fiery-lemon-golden beer. Small white head atop shows moderate-to-low retention.
Nose immediately shows straightforward citrus and pine tending somewhat over-boiled and coming off grassy and vegetal while leaving resin persisting on the finish.
Whitebread/angel food-like straightforward sweetness comes off a bit too strong up front as strong bitterness and dull citrus quickly takes over. Lackluster carbonation is too loose and the beer finishes with too much grapefruit and pine/lemon alongside strong grassy, bitter dullness.

From my dear brother: pours copper with a white head. Aroma is piny, citrus with a fair share of maltiness. Taste is balanced. Fairly bitter. Fruity notes. Good.

Can pour into shaker pint glass from Hannaford, Bedford NH. Appearance is clear, pale orange with light sparkle, 1/2-finger width white head with poor retention and fair leggy lacing. Aroma is strong pineapple, tangerine, lemon, mild resin. Taste is moderately sweet initial tropical fruit with more bitter, resinous 2nd half over malt backbone. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, soft-to-average carbonation and mix of sweet and bitter finish. Overall, I wish the taste reflected the aroma a little better with more sweet and variety. Decent but pretty middle of the road in this category.

(Thanks, John! "johnnnniee") Can. A- Papaya, mango, stone fruits, pine, spruce, grassy, dank. A- Orange color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Pine, bitter, grassy, stone fruits. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- Fairly aggressive and a bit too forward for my preference. For the right person, this would be a damn good ipa. While it wasn’t for me per se, I still found a lot to appreciate in it.

12 oz. can purchased at Craft Beer Cellar, Portsmouth. Hazy orange in color with spotty head retention in the pint glass. Aroma is pretty nice, tropical fruit, light florals and mild pine.

The malt bill is nice and balance the sturdy amount of hops. The malts gives sweetness but doesn’t become to sweet. As any IPA, this is best had real fresh because other wise this nice hop profile will fade. The hops right now are bright and are exactly as the aroma. Juicy tropical fruit in the center with a nice lasting pine toward the finish. Nicely crafted and I really enjoy the balance of fruit and pine.

Can from the brewery, and on tap. Brilliantly clear deep golden color with a huge bubbly bone white head that persists forever before leaving some nice stickies on the sides of the glass. Big citrus and pine resin on the nose with a bready lightly toasted maltiness to back it up. Light earth and a touch of stone fruit round the nose out nicely. The flavor holds a solid toastiness and light bready caramel malt. Big grapefruity citrus with plenty of earthy pine hopiness. Moderate hop bitterness especially as it lingers long into the finish. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a bitter resinous mouthfeel. That’s a pretty damn good IPA right there!
