Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Kris Wines. Pours deep brown with a fairly dense, frothy beige head. The nose holds burnt coffee, dark chocolate, molasses. Medium sweet flavour with some ashy roast, bitter baking cocoa, scorched earth, espresso, raisins, a slight metallic note. Medium bodied, lightly oily, with massaging carbonation. Finishes with more bitter ash and baking cocoa, more earth, dark chocolate, undertones of dried fruits. Not bad overall.

Keykeg at Cotteridge Tasting, Saturday 24th January 2015 Coffee in mouth, devoid of much sweetness, tidy coffee stout. Quite soft in mouth. bitter and roasty linger. Bloody good start to my beer drinking today. Btw a nice range of keykeg by the boys at Cotteridge. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8
