Crumbs Amber Lager is the first beer produced by Crumbs Brewing.
It uses delicious, unsold bloomer loaves from Reigate’s Chalk Hills Bakery as a key ingredient in the brewing process.
Brewed in a Vienna Lager style it's rich with a lingering malty flavour. Hopped with Progress the bitterness is subtle making it a very sessionable beer.

Bottle from Auriol Wines, Hartley Wintney. Sweet sour edged aroma. Somewhat saccharine. Dark amber. Bubbly. Thick frothy white head. Initial light bitter, with a core of sweetness. Almost a herbal edge to it. I suppose there is a doughy element to it, however it has more kick and character than I was expecting. Kinds simultaneously bitter and sweet. Medium bodied. Slick. A fizz to the carbonation but still has a soft mouthfeel. Relatively abrupt finish. Going back to my comments regarding the taste, it does have its own character. Slightly unusual but not bad.
