Cask @ White Hart, Todmorden. Golden with a small creamy head. Hopped with light red-berry influences in both aroma and taste.

[Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading.] A bright amber pour with a scant white head; gentle spicy aroma; smooth and syrupy in the mouth with a bittersweet taste; and a dry bready finish. Rather disappointing.

On cask. Appearance - amber with a nicely proportioned head. Nose - nougat, toffee, floral honey. Taste - chewy toffee, light hazelnut or almond. Honey again. Burnt brown bread. Palate - light bodied, creamy carbonation and roasty bitterness on the finish. Overall - delightful nose, palate OK.

Cask at Babington Arms, Derby. Pours golden amber with a small almost white head and good lacing. There’s marmalade and biscuits in the aroma. The mouthfeel is a mix of traditional hops and malts with flavours of oranges and nuts initially. Later there are some hints of ginger and spices too. Finish is slightly bitter and spicy. This is decent.

Clear and golden with a bubbly/frothy white head and light malt and a hint of floral hop on the nose. Fresh and crisp with floral bitterness, a kick of citrus and a light malt backbone
