Perfect for Valentines Day! This wheat beer is full of rose and ginger. Tastes a bit like Turkish Delight, it's a fantastic drop, floral but with a spicy kick.

330ml bottle @Mad for Beer (Rome). Golden color with medium and persistent white head. Aroma is bergamot and floreal, rose, cyclamen, interesting. Flavour is a bit confused and rough, little sweet at first with a decent bitter end. Light body, good carbonation. Not easy to drink as I expected.

On cask at Cloisters. Appearance - cloudy yellow. Nice head. Nose - turkish delight. Then dry astringent wheat. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a thin mouthfeel. Slightly astringent finish. Overall - not great. Didnโt deliver much.

Cask at Westow House. It pours cloudy golden/pale orange with a small white head. The nose is soft, doughy, wheat, straw, floral, soap, Turkish Delight, icing sugar and jelly babies. The taste is smooth, grassy bitterness, straw, floral, creamy, rose, Turkish Delight and wheat with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Nice rose character. Works rather well, without being overpowering.

Bottle from โJacksโ, Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon, consumed at home, Wednesday 10th December 2014. Pours hazy, cloudy mucky yellow with white head. Soft in mouth, wheaty with a sweet edge. Refreshing, not sure I can get the roseyness, but its a good beer. A7 A3 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4

Very hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and crisp and semi dry. Good floral rose, sweetish and a little tangy. Nicely tempered by and integrated with mild orangey citrus. Finishes light and dry with a mild floral bitterness. In that narrow field of Rose beers, I canโt think of a better one. Very nicely done and very drinkable!
