Can from the lcbo. Jet black, medium brown head. Aroma is very roasty with sticky, unctuous, cocoa notes. Light brown sugar, and some hints of dark fruit. Silky mouth feel, slightly oily, soft carb. Low bitterness, was expecting it to be quite sweet, but it wasn't. Reminded me of a basic stout with lots of cocoa notes, hints of coffee and solid roast.

A dark stout with a thin creamy dark brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light mineral notes, pleasant. In mouth, sweet fruity malt with chocolate, light cinnamon and vanilla, a bit surprising. On tap at Kichesippi So Much Stout.

(Can) clear, bright, very dark brown colour with a small brown head; aroma of roast, grain; creamy palate; simple, balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish

This stout poured a deep black colour with a big brown head. Quite creamy with nice lacing. Scents include coffee, cocoa and a little gravy. First swig was bold and full of flavour. Quite sweet and syrupy. Flavours of brown sugar and coffee with a hint of Melloid cough drops. Coffee sweetness lingering.

Pours a real dark brown colour from the can with hardly any highlights. Mocha-coloured head, fizzy, bubbly, but decent lasting with some foamy patches. Chocolate malt aromas with some cocoa notes and roasted malts. Tasted malt taste with a very light sweetness and light hops in the finish. Not much lingers, kind of wet mouthfeel. Thicker though, but not syrupy. Alright overall, but wish it had more cocoa nibs and lactose. More flavours.
