Our head brewer Chris is moving on (it really has been a pretty big year) He studied the arts and acting for 8 years and was just really helping us out to begin with, wound up passing all of his exams and kind of fell into brewing really for the last 5 years! However the move prompted a reassessment and we are all incredibly impressed by his shunning of a comfortable life in favour of striking out and doing what he truly loves. A lesson for us all. His last brew is an DIPA with Amarillo, Citra, Sorachi Ace and notes of Piña Colada. In the bottle, this is tasting even juicier!

Keg at the Partizan taproom. Pours clear, bright orange-gold with a tight, creamy white head. Juicy hops in the snout, orange, papaya, mango and melon, background pale malts. Medium sweet flavour, well rounded, not overly bitter, with more vibrant citrus fruits, moderate tropical notes, light piney bitterness. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Somewhat warming in the finish, with restrained bitterness, more oranges, some rindy notes, more mango, papaya. Excellent stuff. Hugely drinkable.

Keg at the brewery. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a frothy off white head. Aroma is semi sweet juicy mango, peach, pithy, light toffee, chewy,. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, chewy malts, peach and mango, apricot. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, sticky hop resin. Not bad.
