Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 3rd August 2024. Hazy golden amber with shallow foam and spot lacing. Malty aroma with doughy notes and mellow fruits. Tangy fruitiness dominates the liquid pass and finish. Medium bodied with a zingy mouthfeel. Pleasant

Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours a cloudy golden amber with minimal white head. Malts in the aroma, together with honey and golden syrup. In the mouth it is slightly sweet with a texture tending towards creamy – but underneath there is fairly high carbonation. Flavour is mainly honey and barley sugar, plus some malts. After a while some pepper can be detected – leading to a dry finish. It’s OK, but if this is an IPA, then I’m a Dutchman !

Foamy white head left a rocky froth on a hazy dark gold body. Fruity hopped up aroma. Medium bodied, sharp & clean. Bitter, citrus, pithy & herbal tastes with a fruity tropical fruit finish. Easy going.

Bottle courtesy of dad, cheers dad, shared with Dad, Saturday 23rd December whilst cooking Zarzuela. Pours gold edging towards light amber with a white filmy head. A little bit of a pithy bite, grapefruit, dry, it's a nice beer. I like this. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5
