Hazed golden-orange colour with a frothy-bubbly head, average retention and some good sticky-foamy lacing. Citrus nose with hints of watermelon freshness. After breathing a bit, some pineapple notes, spiciness and wood come out. The mouthfeel is wet, juicy, showing some big bitterness and finishing on a nice dryness, that is not overkill. Lemon zest and orange juices in the flavours, with some orange peel as well. Even though this is a juicy IPA, the DDH get this one dry and bitter with full zestiness.

(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours near opaque orange-gold with an off-white head that leaves heavy lace. Aroma is very dank and a bit biting, funky tart pineapple, resinous mango, lemon/lime melange, some creamy florals, fruit rinds, a little sulphur. Flavour is fairly dry overall, notes of grapefruit, lime, underripe pineapple, some papaya, dank and floral, very Vic Secret-forward it feels but earthy/berry Mosaic in there too though, slightly sweet citrus pulp and cereals, proiminent peppery green garlic towards the finish along with lime/grapefruit and berry. Dry, light to moderate bitter and slightly warm aftertaste. Medium-bodied, slick to creamy, average carbonation. Surprisingly excellent and distinct from many recent BdBC brews for me in its hop profile.

16oz at Phill's place shared with Alex. Appearance: murky pale golden with a white head. Aroma: mix of tropical fruits with some flowery notes. Taste: along the same lines, the body is more on the thin side. Overall: good IPA.

Can: Poured a cloudy/hazy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of huge juicy hops notes with nice fruity and tropical notes with some floral undertones. Taste is a nice mxi of juicy hops notes with huge floral undertones of hoppy notes of citrus/tropical flavours with some residual sugar also perceptible. Body is full with good carbonation. Excellent NEIPA with nice tropical flavours.
