473mL can, courtesy of Oakes, pours a clear copper with a large white head. Nose is very malt-forward, with tons of caramel malt, butterscotch that borders on diacetyl, and chewy resins. Flavour is pretty egregious: lots of sweet caramel malt, butterscotch, very subdued resinous hops, and maybe some diacetyl. Cloyingly sweet in a cough syrupy type of way. This is pretty bad.

Amber, bright, chewy and bitter, so really old school in that regard. The hop’s not that bright, which ultimately dulls the entire presentation. There’s just nothing to pull you in here.

Tap @ Olde Dublin Pub, Charlottetown. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are hops, fruits, flowers, citrus and malt. Nice bitter finish.

Poured from the tap (at Seaport Beer Fest). Hazy gold with full white head. Soft melon hops, slightly juicy, hint of pine, a touch doughy. Okay.
Pours a cloudy rosy gold with some persistent foamy head. Smells of resin, pine and a touch of honey. Taste goes completely another way. Lots of citrus and a little tangerine, some honey and just a hint of resin and pine. Fairly creamy, and with bitterness that lingers. Different for a DIPA, and worth trying, though not mindblowing. Tap at the Hive and the Honeycomb in Charlottetown.
A golden DIPA with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp and light doughy character. In mouth, a biscuit malt with oily mouth feel, resinous hops, light dank notes, OK.
