Cask-conditioned, on gravity at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol March 2018. Dark brown in colour, with a slight, beige, head. A fruity beer, with some citrus hops, red berries, bready malts and a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Dark brown with a light tan head. The body is maybe a little watery. Coffee and chocolate up front with some light fruity hops (sweet green grape?) and a hint of pine. It's pleasant and goes down well. I like the coffee.

Third of a pint in my local Wetherspoon pub on 15th March 2018. Dark brown body, tight tanned head. Decent enough, some meaty maltness over a light citrus undertone. I am still struggling with black IPA's to be honest, but this fine. In fact my mate had two pints of this while I messed around with two sets of thirds!

Cask handpull at The Eight Bells Dover JDW. Dark ruby beer. Lasting tan head. Served a little warm .so glad I don't have to drink so many black ipa these days. Still don't get the style. OK chocolate and lime and some drying hop on finish. Served warmish.
