This red poured just that, hazy red colour with a creamy, off white head. Nice lacing. Scents include light ripe fruit, malt, hay and a little wine. First swig was smooth and creamy with flavours of must, brown sugar, ripe fruit and hops. Finish is a little sweet with mild hop bitterness and must flavours lingering.

A red copper ale with a thin lacing mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light grassy hops, treacle, pleasant. In mouth, sweet caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, light cereals, ok. On tap at Red Lion.
