Keg at the Island Queen, Islington. Bright yellow and hazy with a thick white head. Light lemony notes, a touch of pineapple, some wet grass. Balanced taste: the sweetness threatened to overpower before being knocked back by a sharp bitterness. Drier finish than I expected. Heavy carbonation. Decent beer but ultimately not up to all that much really.

Can. Morrison’s. Clear gold with some loose, white foam. Nose has notes of pine and candied peel. Bready malts. Light leafy herb. Taste has a bready sweetness, with firm, pithy, zesty bitterness. Light and bright on the palate. Brisk carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish. Great beer for the pocket money price.

Can from The Beer Cave. Clear golden body with a white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, straw and salted lemon. Flavour of steel and citrusy notes. Thin to medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Simple and easy to drink, but ultimately forgettable.

Clear pale golden beer with a thick white head. Zesty hops and slightly floral smell. Flavour is bitter, grassy hop, quite zesty. Pretty dry but with enough sweetness to balance it out, crisp and refreshing. Good session beer.

330ml can; BB 22nd Mar 2021. Drank at home on 9th Sep 2020. Light haze to the pale golden body, white affair on top. Mild citrus front to the nose and taste, grapefruit lead (maybe). OK overall and nothing to upset anyone flavour or aroma wise.
