Cask at Picture House, Stafford. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow which is slow to settle but comes with a sizeable white head and good lacing. There’s floral hop and lemon in the nose. In the mouth hops are very much in evidence, both traditional bitter and floral. However, there is also a little sweetness as malts, oranges and a hint of lemon slowly come to the surfasce. Finish is initially slightly dry and sweet. However, 30 minutes (and no beers) later, I find I have sticky citrus on the roof of my mouth – weird ! Apart from that sting in the tail, it is quite nice.

330ml can, as Voltage: BB 14th Oct 2021. Drank at home on 27th Dec 2020.Clean and clear amber body, short lived thin white head. Hops front to the nose, a mixture of floral, pine and citrus esters coming together nicely. The taste a pleasant blend of semi-sweet maltiness and non-bittering hops. Nice, easy drinking IPA/APA.
