FRENCH MARTINI PALE

Our second Northern Spirits release and we’ve turned to pure elegance. The classic French Martini was invented in the 1980s in New York by bartender Keith McNally and takes its name from one of the main ingredients, Chambord. Think fruity, smooth and velvety but with a sharp backbone. It’s refreshing and indulgent.

We’ve used lots of pineapple here to replicate the sharpness of the cocktail, topped with some raspberry puree, notes of blackcurrant and a touch of vanilla to replicate the flavour of Chambord. Smooth, juicy with medium mouthfeel but with a zingy tang.

We brewed this beer with Roland’s, the sanctuary of Call Lane, founded in 2014 by brothers Jonathan & Alexander Neil, Roland’s is laidback bar with courtyard and hidden roof terrace serving up exceptional drinks, great music and good times. Named 32nd best bar in the UK at the 2022 Top 50 Bar Awards. Roland’s Harrogate opened in March 2022 with a grown-up, chilled out vibe serving world class drinks to the fine people of Harrogate.

Keg @ Northern Monk Refectory, Manchester. Hazy amber colour with a small head. Has a very sugary, almost milkshake style aroma and taste - Certainly a sweet brew with raspberry ripple notes.
