The latest in our "non-hazy" IPA range (ok, so they might be slightly hazy, but they're certainly not NEIPAs...) is Shinryu, a 6.5% beauty that packs a mighty hop punch.
We've hit this one with silly amounts of Simcoe, Mosaic and Strata for all the impact of our hazy IPAs but in a drier, more drinkable package. Not to be confused with classic WCIPAs, this one might surprise you. Give it a try and see!

On tap at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Clear gold pour with a white head. Nice sweet fruit aromas- peach, papaya, mango, pineapple, sweet citrus. Flavours of mango, papaya, peach, pink grapefruit, tangerine. Fresh fruity feel. Lightly bitter.

Keg at CBJ. A light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, thinnish, a decent sweetness. Light pine and savoury skunk. Light and fairy bright orange and mandarin. A little hop spice. Light finish. Decent.

Keg at Craft Beer Junction, Bermondsey, 27/11/24. Hazed orange topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is bitter orange, grass, pineapple, dank chimes. Taste comprises grapefruit, weed, hop spice, pine resin, bitter orange. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness. Tidy.

440ml can. Lightly hazed golden, white head. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruits, mandarin, grapefruit peel. Taste is like a mix of west and east coasts, some bright citrusy notes of mandarin and grapefruit peel, some lighter tropical notes of papaya and mango, pale malts. Medium bodied. Neither east nor west coast but really works well.

Tap at craft beer junction. A translucent golden orange coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is semi sweet, medium dank, plastic, orange rind. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, juicy orange pithy, dank. Mango, juicy creamy wheat. Palate is semi sweet, sticky hop, moderate carbonation.
