Bottle at BBT feb 2025. Full body, light carbo. High sweetness, high bitterness too, light boziness. Lots of chocolate, but mainly med-high Islay whisky character, combined with moderate molasses. Could use a bit more complexity, but nevermind, it is quite tasty and good.

Can at BBT Feb/2025. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma of chocolate, nougath, peat, dark malt, coffee, light caramel. Taste starts very sweet, complemented with peat, dark chocolate. Alcohol is dangerously hidden. Nice.

From tap at Borefts 2017. Aroma is smooth whiskey, oak, caramel, chocolate, light peat, bit syrupy with molasses. Big sweet flavour and some warming booze. Body is full. Infinitely better than the base beer, for me at least.

Bottle from Gedeelde Vreugde (?). Jet black, small, beige head. Intense aroma of peat, tobacco, charcoal, chocolate sauce, soy sauce, dried fig, prune, black olive, peated whisky. Taste has very sweet candied date, fig, prune & vague banana wrapped in a thick malt body of fondant, dark fudge & even maple somewhere, balanced by a decent amount of salty soy and peat too. Herbal & slightly peppery hoppy finish, touch of salty liquorice, dried fruits; but dominant still is the earthy peat & tobacco and the warming peated whisky alcohol. Full body, oily-sticky texture, soft carbonation. Overwhelming peat profile, but still showing sufficient depth.

Bottled@Little Pub, Vaasa. Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, mild peated notes, some toffee, sweet malts and ripe fruits. Flavour is rather smooth of liquorice, alcohol, ripe fruits, some peated notes as well as toffee and some nutty notes. Pleasant and good sipper, which still goes down the throat surprisingly quick.

Too much.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black, no head. Huge peaty Laphroaig aroma. Super sweet with full to massive body and rounded, somewhat viscous mouthfeel. Extremely sweet with molasses. The excessive sweetness causes inky, taste bud distorting sensations. The only good thing about it is the Laphroaig.
