Oh, Canada! Real maple syrup is added into this thick, sweet porter. Lactose and oats help to give this pudding of a beer a thick viscosity that adds to its decadence.

Post GBBF tasting at ChrisOs. Can. Clear deep red amber beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and has a decent minerally crispness. Thin but flavoursome dark malts, little dark chocolate. Fair dose of pecan, becomes dominant fairly quickly. Mild maple. Little dark fruits underneath. Some dark chocolate powder on the light crisp finish with some bitterness creeping in. Light and nutty.

Keg @ Record Cafe, Bradford. Black with a creamy-bubbly off-white head. Has some smooth roasted malts in its nose, and good roasted malts in its taste, which linger in its aftertaste.
