Draft at Pour Taproom Charlotte. Hazy reddish purple color medium off white head. Aroma of acetic berrise. Taste is berry vinegar. Not fond of vinegar in my beer.

On tap at Biercab. Pours bright red purple. Blackcurrant, red grape, Ribena, really sour, strong white wine vinegar, lovely strong red fruit sweetness with a real acidity. Good body. Like somebody dramatically lowered the pH of Ribena and that is no bad thing. Very good.

Tap at Bakujun in Kyoto and served in a snifter. Beatitude Council: Tart Blackcurrant Sour Saison 4.5% This is the 4th in this series I’ve tried and I gotta say it is the best looking with a deep reddish pink-purple color that is quite cocktail like. Great tart waxy sour black current aroma. Fairly full and soft bodied but with a sharp round carbonation that finishes dry and light. The taste is tart black currant, a bit of twiggy/woodsy character (like a berry bearing branch was snapped off and used to male the beer) then acidic sour notes. Summery and interesting, it tastes nice but not as good as it looks which is amazing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 750ml. [ As Council Béatitude: Black Currant Tart Saison ].Clear medium to dark red colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white - pink - red head. Aroma is moderate to heavy blackcurrant, ribena juice - lemonade, redcurrant jelly. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate acidic with a long duration, tart, dry, blackcurrant, redcurrant jelly, tart berries. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle @Ulfborg Tasting. Cloudy red, a few floaties. Light pinkish head. Black currant, Ribena aroma. Strong black currant flavour. Very light funky, yeasty notes. Tart and dry. Very long berry finish.

On tap at the brewery. Dark red with a small head. Quite tart with black currant, some earth and light citrus. Refreshing and easy to drink. A tasty one.

On tap at Council, pours a cloudy pinkish ruby red with a small pink head. Aroma brings out decadent jammy black currants, with light tartness. Flavour is likewise massively jammy, with tons of fruity tart black currants, with lots of pith and low acidity. Lovely fruity characteristic. So jammy. Really good.
