The development of Apricot Vista began with a nine-month mixed primary fermentation in a 1936 cypress wood lagering tank. The brew was then transferred onto 4,700 pounds of apricots and re-fermented for an additional three months, allowing the complex tart flavors of the fruit to marry with the acidity and slight spiciness of the base beer. The result is a bright golden-orange Berliner Weisse that bursts with juicy apricot flavor and a tart lemon acidity.

Bottled January 2016.
Even a vigorous pour yields a minimal head of foam sitting on top of a hazy apricot coloured liquid..see what I did there? Can't say I see any lacing.
The smell makes up for the short comings of the appearance. Loads of apricot aromas, sour, light Brett, deep whiffs reveal a fruity sweetness.
Nicely tart from the apricots, light Brett, some acetic sourness, light sweetness, this is a fine variant of the Berliner Weisse style.
Pretty lively carbonation and light body.
Another hit in my book by August Schell.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a white head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma has a good amount of earthy apricot with a decent amount of sourness and a wheat backbone. Flavor is similar with earthy and tart apricot supported by wheat and a touch of acid in the finish.

Winterfest 2016. This is an excellent fruit sour, much like a fruit lambic. I found the sour flavor to be very strong for a Berliner. Cloudy yellow color. Big aroma with apricot and yeast. Flavor has lots of apricot and it is very sour, possibly the most sour beer from the series yet, but so much apricot you do not forget it is there and it provides some sweetness for balance.
