Ridiculously hazy golden coloured body with a thick, almost pure white head about eight centimetres tall - very nice and incredible looking with the hazy glow of gold and the larger head - beautiful. Aroma of dry grain, pure yeast and wheats, some subdued grasses, a touch of sugars and a bit of dry funk at the end - very nice. Light-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal funk and yeastie qualities at first with some light wheat, a touch of herbs and some moderate amount of sweetness is noticeable near the end. Aftertaste shows some yeast with a lot of grasses and a very complex and robust dry funk of saison-y notes that are still low alcohol but show bunches of flavours and a nice robust yeast complexity throughout. Overall, a very nice and rich beer with a low alcohol, but full flavour and even fuller complexity towards the end. Great to sample and even though I wanted to dislike this beer, I really liked it and wish it was a bit cheaper and easier to find and I'd get more of them. I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 10-June-2017 for US$6,25 sampled at home on the Eastern Shore of Virginia in Pungoteague, Virginia on 26-January-2018.

500ml bottle from Redstone Liquors, Stoneham. (clearly an aged bottle) This pours a hazy golden color with a huge amount of carbonation. Aroma is mild grains, yeast with a note of musty basement. Taste is a light lemon tartness with a light fruity and grain profile. Subtle notes of citrus.
Light to medium bodied with abundant carbonation. Very restrained bitterness. Overall, this is drinks very well.

Pours straw into a shaker. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes to coat surface. Lively hay aromas. Soft with sweet citrus funk, hay and marshmallow upfront turning to mild aspirin and tropical fruit in the medium length finish.

Lightly hazy, soft brass-lime-golden body is topped by a large, white head showing moderately-strong retention.
Brett and hops combining wonderfully in the nose to produce all sorts of citrus, tropical fruit and mild funk notes that are bright, clean and generally light. No resin, no grapefruit, no pine; none of the unwanted stuff. Just soft, musty, lime/hickory brett notes, low on the perfume, with nectarine, mango and light pineapple. Soft plastery yeast and minerality to the beer, great house character as usual.
In the mouth, it’s dry, but still with a lightly malty edge adding vanilla-tinged biscuit and delicate honey. Lavender, pineapple, sweet limes and light mango all give a wonderful juiciness, but it’s not too intense nor sweet. Fluffy, ample carbonation is quite engaging and there just a touch of graininess to dry things out. Very nice stuff! Only my third or fourth comet hopped beer and it seems like a very promising hop.

Covenhoven, Brooklyn tap: pours pale yellow with a white head. Aroma is light herbs, grass, hops, and the funk. Taste is lightly bitter, dry, and lightly funky. What a saison should be. Almost a sour note in there. Quite good.
