Draught at the source: pours hazy with a white head. Aroma is citrusy, fruity notes, hints of pine. Taste is sweet, smooth, lightly bitter. Not bad.

Can pour. Appearance is hazy orange-yellow with fine, dark floaties held in suspension, trace sparkle, finger-width white foamy head with fair retention and decent soapy lacing. Aroma is strong (from the moment you open the pull tab) citrus, pine, milder grapefruit and hint of herb. Taste is dominant pine and herb, milder tropical fruit and citrus, hint of spice. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, soft-to-average carbonation and dry, crisp finish as taste. Overall, strong aroma and flavor and decent complexity. A bit on the thin side for the style.

Canned January 2019. This is the Mosaic, Amarillo and Azacca hop batch. Flavor has nice dry floral, hops with a strong grassy, herbal tang. Some floral and grassy bitterness in the finish. Feel is soft on the palate. Effervescent and well made.

Light pine, light citrus and a little bit of herbal bitterness like shamanic elixirs. Some caramel here. Tap at Snally.

Draught at Row 34, 5/11/17.
Clear, light-blonde-golden body with a good-sized white head that slowly fades to cover.
Wow, smells like a nose full of Galaxy and thats fine with me. Tons of white grape with lime zest and light honey-like malts balancing gently. I find azacca pretty aggressive, a lot of times, but here its fairly tame in the nose and at least plays second fiddle to the Galaxy. A bit of wood and lemon from the Amarillo and oddly enough almost no pine or resin. Clean and quite different from a lot of their other IPA and the other NE IPAs out there. First of all, its clear but its not intensely juicy with no huge biscuit character from wheat. Yet still its delightfully full of interesting hop notes, the white grape most prominently, as mentioned, without really coming off like a traditional or West Coast IPA. No alcohol or flaw.
Lightly juicy with a solid base of lightly sweet, soft honey-like notes from the malt and a tight carbonation. Dries out nicely with help from the moderate, lightly grassy bitterness and contains plentiful white grape, nectarine, white peach and dry, woody notes. Azacca does intensify the flavor and adds a bit of pine and orange. Gets a little resinous towards the end of the glass, but otherwise this is another delicious IPA from one of my favorites. Would love to see this one without the azacca though, thats for sure.
