Cold conditioned like a lager. Hopped like an IPA. Maybe Both returns as a Cold IPA, a refreshingly crisp beer with big, bright, contemporary hop character.

16 ounce can from Urban Barley in NYC. Hazy pale gold color. Large frothy white head. Sweet grainy malt nose with a hint of earthy hops. Crisp, bready malt upfront. Citrusy, lemon notes in middle. Notes of cut grass and hay. Dry drips finish. Very tasty and well crafted.

Can at home in Hackney - big thanks to Bruce. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Lovely tropical fruits in the nose, melon, mango and papaya, a little dank pissy notes, pale bread. Light-medium sweet flavour with mild piney bitterness, more pale bread, more mango and papaya. Light bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Finishes with a little piney resin, some further pale bread, or as rind, more papaya, tangerine. Great stuff.

500 ml. Bottle spilt by willrunforbeer, much thanks. Aroma is mild citrus, lager yeast, earthy tone. The flavor is citrus forward with a tone of earthy notes. The mouthfeel is soft but very pleasant with a almost grassy bitterness. Very refreshing and it does have a bitterness that is higher than the standard lager however, it is labeled and marketed as a Pale Lager. Nice brew.

Bottle drunk 4/1/17.
Light haziness to this lemon and gold beer with a large, white head atop showing moderate retention.
Fruity and spicy in the nose with nectarine, kiwi, light mango and more dry citrus but with a very fresh, green, vegetal (good vegetal) character that is quite charming, especially in concert with the fresh house yeast character full of light minerality. Well-attenuated malts provide only a bit of cereal and other light grain notes with a hint of spongecake-like sweetness. No alcohol, flaw or resin.
Juicy, though not explosively so, with more of a ripe nectarine and tangerine character that unfolds in to deep, long, green, spicy, dank notes with mild but ample bitterness and very soft, well-attenuated malts creating a supportive texture with the low but engaging carbonation. Everything is soft, clean and flavorful here, with a good complexity to the hops and enjoyable yeast and malt characteristics.

Pours pale straw into a shaker. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to mottle surface. Mango and passion fruit aromas. Medium bodied with lemon peel and mango upfront turning to dry pith in the lasting finish.

In celebration of ratebeers newest style I cheers with this. Tap at gingerman. Light cloudy gold one finger white head that dissipates. Nose is lighter citrus and yeast. Tastes soft but very pleasant of grass, lemons, candy, sourdough. Soft palate almost creamy. Very refreshing and nicely done.
